How long will it take before the coins of the currencies replaced by the Euro are valuable?
I have quite a collection of Irish punts, german marks and french francs as well as a bit of lira.
They probably won’t. There are so many people who keep/collect loads of old coins. How valuable are old UK pennies, halfpennies or Farthings? (pre decimalisation). They aren’t. Or Threepenny bits, sixpences, or even siver theepennybits.
If you do collect them they need to be mint condition and the rarer years.
