How do you zero out the counter on a digital coin-counting jar?
We bought this jar within the last year, that has a digital display that counts the value of coins inserted through a slot in the lid. The only possible way I can think of to reset the display, is to remove the batteries for some length of time, but that has not worked. Is anyone familiar with this type of jar? Is there some other way to reset the counter to zero?
I have never seen such a jar, but I cannot imagine there not being a way to reset the count if the jar is meant to be periodically opened for withdrawal. Google for the instruction manual. I would also look carefully in the battery compartment for a button or switch if there is nothing obvious on the outside.
